Our local elementary and middle schools in Oakley provide quality education that prepares students for success in high school, college, and the workforce. However, some schools are over 85 years old and need urgent repairs. Together, Measures J & K will ensure that all students attend modern schools that are safe, secure, and able to support quality teaching and learning. 

 

Measure J – the Oakley Union Elementary School District Student Safety/Security Measure – will improve student safety and school security by relieving overcrowding and ensuring local schools meet current fire and earthquake standards.

 

Measure K – the Oakley Union Elementary School District Classroom Repair/Upgrade Measure – will make critical repairs and upgrades to local classrooms, labs, and school facilities to support quality teaching and academic programs.

Voting Yes on J & K will allow our schools to qualify for millions in state matching funds that will otherwise go to other school districts.
